The train is getting ready to leave the station. I would say that the potty training with my lil Miss kikay is almost over. we are getting there and soon enough it will be a total success. She is definitely potty trained with the number 1 and is working with the number 2. Last night she was wearing an underwear and woke up dry. I even thought she might peed on it but she did not. The clever princes still hesitant to wear underwear and would sneak out to wear her pull ups instead. However, I couldn’t be happier as she is doing her best not to pee in her underwear. I can’t complain if she rather wear pull ups than underwear, she is sometimes scared to get yelled at if she’s wet or peed on the floor.
One thing i learned about potty training though. “Never forced potty training on your two year old toddler”. Wait a little and let the nature takes its course. My toddlers were two years old when I first introduced potty training. They both have almost same experienced and response to it. They pooped on the potty for one week but then get back on the diaper after that. The boy even fooled me when he was three years old. I thought he was getting good at in pooping in the potty but then he was just after with the reward. He technically potty trained when he was 3 years and 6 months old. However, the girl is a bit early than Jake. Justine is 3 years and 2 months old right now and yet she is already pooping regularly on the potty. The urinating is always late when it comes to potty training. We are working on it though and I hope soon she will get the hang of wearing underwear at all times without wetting on it.
